Preparation course

A preparation course of three to four days will bring together future and past fellows. It will be held at the LGT Academy (Eschenz near Lake Constance) in January, shortly before departure to the target destinations.

Future fellows will be prepared for their engagement on-site, Alumni fellows will present their report and experiences relating to their fellowship year. The aim of this course is to exchange ideas and build a network of fellows. The structure of LGT Venture Philanthropy as a foundation, its philosophy, vision and values will be discussed and the fellows will be provided with the specific information needed for a successful engagement. Attendance of the course is mandatory to participate in the fellowship program.

Report and case study

After completion of the fellowship program, every fellow is asked to write a business school case study and a 20-page report. The report should summarize their experience, the development observed, and provide a possible follow-up for future fellows. Reports will be presented to all fellows at a conclusion weekend which coincides with the preparation course for the next generation of fellows.
