Basic commercial training with LGT in Liechtenstein and Switzerland
LGT offers basic commercial training with a vocational diploma (profile M) or without (profile E). Both are three-year courses.
Extended basic training (profile E)
As a commercial employee with extended basic training, you will be able to master commercial tasks largely unaided.
Requirements: Good performance in secondary school, especially in languages and mathematics
Vocational diploma (profile M)
On top of the skills acquired in profile E, commercial employees with a vocational diploma stand out by striving for superior academic performance. Profile M prepares you for admission to a university of applied sciences without having to take an entrance exam.
Requirements: Very good performance in secondary school and a pass in the aptitude test
The practical part of the three-year course involves working in various LGT departments to gain a broad insight into the world of wealth and asset management. The academic part is twofold, with general subjects covered by vocational college and specialist subjects by the relevant industry associations. Passing the final exam earns you a federal commercial diploma.
