LGT Academy I: the holistic Academy for employees and executives

Holistic personality development means achieving a balance between mind and body. LGT Academy I provides answers to fundamental questions such as: How do I regard myself? How do I take care of my health? How can I develop my own personality? How can I develop my contemplative mental skills and my creative talents in a team? What methods can I use to better understand complex interrelationships?

Before you can lead others, you have to know yourself

Over 500 LGT employees have participated in an Academy I seminar over the last ten years. To best define its principle of a life balance between body, mind and spirit it has adopted the Latin motto:

Mens sana in corpore sano

A seminar at  Academy I encompasses mental training, contemplation and tai chi, mind mapping, memory training and calligraphy, methods for overcoming stress, scientific and neuro-biological elements of communication, work and organizational psychology and the psychology of music.

This unique program provides strong and sustained impulses for individual personality development, as well as for everyday private and professional life. Seminar participants discover new aspects of themselves and learn about their previously unexploited potentials.

Short and long seminars at Academy I

The Academy I makes particular demands in terms of time and space. For this reason, two different types of seminar are held:

  • Compact Academy: a condensed one-week course
  • Academy I: lasts for a total of five weeks, spread over a period of about 18 months

Graduates of the Academy I have the possibility of studying for a Certificate of Advanced Studies (CAS) in General  Psychology. This certificate is awarded in conjunction with the „Sigmund Freud Private University“ in Vienna.
