European Fund Awards 2008

At the seventh European Fund Awards 2008 in Luxembourg - organised by Lipper, FundMarket and D’Wort/La Voix - LGT was awarded "Best Group over 3 Years" in the "Mixed Assets – Small" category. LGT took first place thanks to its LGT Strategy Funds 3 – 5 Years and its outstanding risk-adjusted return over three years.

Fund Award 2008

LGT Bond Fund Global Inflation Linked (EUR) was named the Fund Award 2008 winner by the editors of €uro, €uro am Sonntag und €uro-fondsxpress (Axel Springer Verlag, Germany).The fund posted the top performance in the "(inflation-protected) bond fund" category for the year 2007.

Citywire

In September 2008, Michael Simmeth, portfolio manager of LGT Multi Manager Funds, was awarded an A rating for the markets Germany, Austria and Switzerland by Citywire.

Already in November 2007, Citywire awarded Marcel Schnyder for the portfolio management of the LGT Strategy Funds: he succeeded to become a rare member of AAA-rated fund managers.

Lipper Fund Award

An LGT Bond Fund received a Lipper Fund Award at the beginning of 2007 in recognition of its excellent performance over many years.

The Private Equity International Annual Review

“LGT Capital Partners - Private Equity Fund of Funds of the Year” LGT Capital Partners are the alternative investment experts within the LGT Group. The “Fund of Funds” award is further proof of LGT’s leading position on the international financial markets.

Global Pensions Award

“Private Equity Manager of the Year” 2008: A survey of 15,000 worldwide readers of Global Pensions determines the nominations for this international award. LGT Capital Partners won the “Private Equity Manager of the Year” award in its category and was nominated for the category "Fund of Hedge Fund".

Ratings

Standard & Poor’s (S&P) Fund Management Rating

LGT funds awarded A and AA ratings A fund receives an S&P rating if it achieves consistent above-average returns compared with comparable funds. S&P has rated LGT funds as A (competitive) and AA (very competitive).
