Your Responsibilities:
Independently address and resolve complex international regulatory issues (including providing support to other compliance units).
Ensure adherence to the compliance function as per Article 74 of the Banking Act.
Monitor and ensure compliance with international cross-border regulations through reviews, monitoring, and targeted training.
Review and continuously enhance internal cross-border regulations.
Analyze and optimize business processes within a regulatory context.
Tailor and communicate regulatory updates and changes to the relevant target audiences.
Plan and conduct training sessions for employees and management on new and amended regulations.
Independently prepare and coordinate impact analyses for regulatory changes.
We are looking for motivated individuals who can impress us with the following skills:
A degree in Law or Economics, or equivalent qualifications with relevant additional certifications.
Several years of professional experience in the financial sector, with a focus on European financial market regulation, and a strong understanding of the regulatory impacts on banking operations.
Practical experience both in project work related to new regulations and in the operational implementation of regulatory compliance in day-to-day business.
Strong analytical skills, a quick grasp of complex issues, and the motivation to actively contribute.
Willingness to take responsibility, make informed decisions, and communicate them clearly and respectfully.
A collaborative team spirit, initiative, and excellent communication skills in German, with proficiency in English preferred.
For this role, we do not consider applications trough recruitment agencies.
A great place to work – a great place to have impact: LGT promotes diversity among its employees. We believe that an inclusive and appreciative corporate culture is the driver for a great workplace and provides the opportunity to create a unique and successful team. That's why our employees can also benefit from many additional benefits.
Transparency is important to us. That is why you will find everything that matters to us on our website – plus everything you should know about us before you meet us in person, open an account or apply for a job. That includes, for example, the history of the Princely Family, which is closely intertwined with our own.
