Your challenge

As Accounts Payable Officer , you will be responsible for the timely and accurate processing of accounts payable transactions and supporting the Finance team with day-to-day operations.

Your Responsibilities

  • Ensuring all invoices and payments are processed in a timely and accurate manner, including FX payments
  • Correct allocation of expenses into divisions and projects
  • Management of bank balances and internal transfers, ensuring sufficient funds are available before payment runs
  • Regular review of Aged Creditors listing
  • Managing Accounts Payable inbox, including sending emails for approval
  • Employee Expense Claim processing using SAP Concur
  • Corporate Credit Card Claim processing using SAP Concur
  • General Ledger processing and reconciliations supporting Financial Accountants
  • Processing monthly Intercompany transactions
  • Providing information to external auditors
  • Completion of Month-end and Year-end timetable deliverables
  • System maintenance including supplier onboarding and user access setup
  • Being the first point of contact for internal and external accounts payable queries
  • Assist with process improvement and automation projects to enhance the Accounts Payable function
  • Other adhoc tasks to help the Finance team

Your profile

About You

  • Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Business or Finance
  • 5 years of Accounts Payable experience.
  • Previous experience in financial services is not essential but will be highly regarded.
  • Experience with SAP Concur and Microsoft Dynamics GP is desirable
