Your challenge

As an agile Requirements Engineer Avaloq you will work at the interface between the bank and IT. In this varied and responsible role, you will ensure sustainable solution development. To strengthen our team, we are looking for requirements engineers in the areas of securities processing and reconciliation, payment transactions and customer master data. You will be responsible for the following tasks:

  • You will gather and analyze requirements, develop technical solution concepts together with internal and external partners and support their implementation.
  • You conduct workshops and user interviews as part of requirements management.
  • You skillfully ask the right questions to the appropriate people and suggest alternatives when technical or business obstacles arise.
  • You analyze and evaluate business processes in the context of changes to IT systems and ensure the implementation of efficient processes.
  • As a link between the business departments and internal and external IT, you create specifications, user stories and coordinate timely implementation.
  • You contribute your knowledge to the agile team and support the standardization of IT systems of the globally operating business units.

Your profile

  • University education in computer science, business informatics, business administration or equivalent professional experience.
  • Strong experience in requirements analysis, process consulting, solution design, and understanding of data interfaces and banking processes.
  • Quick grasp and continuous familiarization with new areas of activity, coupled with an analytical and problem-solving mindset.
  • Proven ability to work systematically, in a structured and independent manner while being resilient and flexible.
  • Strong emphasis on user/customer focus, hands-on task management and holistic, strategic thinking.
  • Confidence in constructively challenging concepts and ideas from both business and IT backgrounds.
  • Ability to support, extend and coordinate user stories while maintaining familiarity with modern implementations and concepts.
  • Proven ability to analyze, evaluate and implement business process improvements.
  • In-depth knowledge of Avaloq, SQL, Confluence, Jira, Agile Scrum and Microsoft tools such as Office, SharePoint and Teams.
  • Exceptional communication skills, fluent in German and English.
