Your challenge

For our Private Banking Onshore team in Basel, we are looking for a dedicated and trustworthy person as Assistant Relationship Manager, who will be responsible for the following tasks:

  • Proactively and efficiently support of the Team Head and the Relationship Managers in servicing our demanding clientele.
  • Taking over organizational and administrative tasks in terms of comprehensive office management (correspondence, documentation, agenda management, compliance tasks, etc.)
  • Independent pre- and post-processing of customer and acquisition appointments as well as collecting information
  • Monitoring of customer portfolios with regard to maturities of open pending items, preparation of account openings and liquidity management
  • Independent order taking and processing in the areas of securities, foreign exchange, derivatives and payment transactions

Your profile

For this responsible position you should have the following profile:

  • Completed banking training or basic commercial training with practical experience in the private banking business
  • Experience in servicing private banking clients and knowledge of Avaloq would be an advantage
  • Fluent in German and good knowledge of French and English
  • Experience in dealing with regulatory requirements (MiFID, KYC, AML etc.) and knowledge of cross-border regulations
  • Committed, resilient and proactive personality with a high level of initiative, strong customer orientation and willingness to provide services as well as a high demand for quality and reliability
  • Empathic personality with good manners and excellent communication skills
  • Independent, precise and efficient way of working
  • Proficient in the MS Office palette
