Your challenge

- Be the single point of contact/case manager for Front on new client onboarding requests/periodical client file review

- Provide name screening support for new client onboarding/periodical client file review

- Provide guidance on how to use the CLM system for onboarding and client file review to Front staff

- Provide pre-onboarding advisory; act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) to:

  • Provide guidance how to create KYC profile for onboarding to Front staff

  • Advise on KYC due diligence data collection requirements

  • Help Front staff achieve enhance client experience by getting it right the first-time

- Minimize error/rejection rate of client onboarding by

  • Perform an independent initial review of client account documentation for different account types

  • Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and trust company policies/directives

  • Assess and ensure the relevance and completeness of KYC information supplied by Front

  • Perform appropriate due diligence checks and searches in various public sources according to the trust company's standard of client onboarding

- Route client onboarding submissions to subsequent departments in the account opening process per trust company's process/directives

- Participate in change activities and projects in view of the trust company's strategic objectives and vision

- Drive and deliver continuous process improvements, in view of the changing operating and regulatory environment

Your profile

- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in the financial industry and good understanding of KYC/AML/Compliance/Risk requirements

- Knowledge on CLM/Avaloq is a plus

- Team player, understands the importance of collaboration and is committed to service delivery excellence

- Excellent communication skills

- Excellent attention to details

- Ability to work under pressure, cope with change and yet execute in a precise and timely fashion

- Competent in MS office suite, particularly MS Excel

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Japanese and business level proficiency in English
