Your challenge

We are looking for an engaged Data Platform Engineer (f/m/d) to strengthen our Data Platform Team.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Product Owners, Data & IT Architects, Data Engineers, and Application/Software Engineers on the architecture, design, development, implementation, and maintenance of the Data Platform (DWH, Data Lake, Knowledge Graph)
  • Maintain, automate, and operate data interfaces and pipelines
  • Develop and operate the DevOps platform
  • Orchestrate and operate the OpenShift/Kubernetes platform
  • Collect data platform metrics
  • Develop, operate, and maintain Microsoft Fabric

Your profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a comparable field
  • 5+ years of experience in developing IT Data Warehouse / Data Lake applications, ideally in the financial services industry
  • Fluent in English and knowledge of German is an advantage
  • Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server)
  • Technical knowledge of ETL solutions for Data Warehouse and BI projects
  • Experience with agile methodologies, GitLab, and/or graph techniques
  • Knowledge of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes), security concepts, and streaming technologies (e.g., Kafka)
  • Familiarity with Grafana, Prometheus
