We are looking for a dedicated and team-oriented team head to lead a small group of dedicated specialists, who are responsible for the group-wide independent monitoring of market risks of LGT's proprietary exposures and for ensuring the independent verification of all fair valued positions on LGT's balance sheet. In addition to the management responsibility for the team, you will take on the following tasks:

• backtesting and further developing of risk models and the bank's internal limit system
• ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
• contributing to the implementation of new business initiatives
• preparation of various risk reports and supporting material for decision making

For this position we are looking for a motivated person with the following profile:

• Completed studies preferably with a quantitative focus (e.g. finance, economics, statistics), ideally supplemented with further education in a field relevant for this position.
• Several years of professional experience in market risk monitoring at a bank or in a similar field is an advantage
• Good knowledge of trading products, especially fixed income instruments and OTC derivatives
• Strong analytical skills, good IT technical understanding (e.g. interface implementation) and proficient use of Excel
• Good command of German and English, both written and spoken
• Ability to work in a team, sense of responsibility and high level of initiative / self-motivation
