Market view and Insights
LGT is the world’s largest family-owned and managed Private Banking and Asset Management Group. For more than 100 years it has been fully owned and managed by the Princely House of Liechtenstein, which is also one of our biggest clients.
With around 600 employees, LGT Bank Switzerland has established itself as a renowned Swiss private bank and is an excellent address for both wealthy private clients and employees - this was also confirmed last year by the independent institute "Great Place To Work", which awarded LGT Bank Switzerland the title of one of the best employers in Switzerland.
In this temporary position (1 year with option of permanent employment) you will be part of a team within the Private Banking organization responsible for comprehensive management controls of the Market Switzerland Onshore. While collaborating with managers, relationship managers and relevant specialist departments at various locations throughout Switzerland, you will ensure that the defined objectives and requirements are implemented at highest standards in terms of timeliness and quality. Additional tasks include the monthly preparation of management reports and various monitoring and control tasks primarily related to issue management, cross border and ad hoc analyses.
After a thorough onboarding phase, you will independently assume responsibility for the management controls for this market and support your team colleagues as a deputy with other controlling tasks.
You have an education with a focus on banking & finance and several years of experience in banking, preferably in the front office and/or audit department. The areas of operational risks as well as legal and regulatory requirements are of great interest to you. In addition, you have high affinity for IT capabilities and are proficient in MS Office (especially Excel). As a candidate you have very good analytical and strong communication skills, are quick on the uptake, work very accurately and well also under pressure with a confident demeanor.
Your independent and flexible way of working as well as very good written and spoken German and English skills complete your profile.
A great place to work – a great place to have impact: LGT promotes diversity among its employees. We believe that an inclusive and appreciative corporate culture is the driver for a great workplace and provides the opportunity to create a unique and successful team. That's why our employees can also benefit from many additional benefits.
Transparency is important to us. That is why you will find everything that matters to us on our website – plus everything you should know about us before you meet us in person, open an account or apply for a job. That includes, for example, the history of the Princely Family, which is closely intertwined with our own.
