Your challenge

Your Responsibilities  

The deputy Local Security Officer assist the Local Security Officer acting as the local information and cyber security representative at LGT Crestone. The role is responsible for the following tasks

  • Assist with the adoption, roll out and promotion of the related information and cyber group directives, policies and work instructions. This includes Business Continuity Management, and IT (Technology) Directives and instructions.

  • Ensure compliance to information and cyber group directives, policies and work instructions as per the ISMS framework. 

  • Supervision and guidance on local information and cyber security, including Technology risks based on LGT’s framework. 

  • Conduct control testing assurance activities e.g., perform Physical site audits. 

  • Local back-up point of contact for local staff in case of questions, concerns of international SOS. 

  • Assist with implementing and supporting awareness measures defined by the group and local requirements. 

  • Assessing and reviewing security related requests for LSO approval. 

  • Reviewing technical concepts, making recommendations for improvement. 

  • Assessing and managing security risk, including remediation tasks. 

  • Support audit and certification activity. 

  • Point of contact for AusCERTto ensure awareness of current threat situations. 

  • Keeping the LSO-Coordinator up to date with local activity. 

  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders. 

  • Support the identification, assessment and monitoring of technology risks in alignment with local and global risk management framework.

  • Contribute to Business Continuity Management (BCM) planning and exercises, ensuring that cyber risks are identified, assessed and addressed; ensure business continuity and disaster recovery exercises reflect current threat landscapes, including ransomware attacks, system outages and data breaches.

Your profile

Requirements 

The deputy LSO must be an information and cyber security specialist meeting the following requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information security or computer science or 8 years industry experience, with 5 or more years in financial services. 

  • Strong knowledge and practical application of security frameworks, standards and architectures, risk assessment methodologies and awareness training. 

  • Understanding of Physical security and business continuity management. 

  • Risk-aware mind-set and motivation to manage and information and cyber security. 

  • Strong communication skills to convey complex concepts and directives. 

  • Strong analysis capabilities, decision-making, and escalation management capabilities. 

  • Highly motivated who stays across current industry trends.
