About us

LGT is the world’s largest family-owned and managed Private Banking and Asset Management Group. For more than 100 years it has been fully owned and managed by the Princely House of Liechtenstein, which is also one of our biggest clients.
With around 600 employees, LGT Bank Switzerland has established itself as a renowned Swiss private bank and is an excellent address for both wealthy private clients and employees - this was also confirmed last year by the independent institute "Great Place To Work", which awarded LGT Bank Switzerland the title of one of the best employers in Switzerland.

Your challenge

At LGT, Learning and Development (L&D) promotes the growth of our company and its employees alike. L&D is accountable for key organizational practices like onboarding, performing, continuous learning and improvement, employee experience, talent, succession, careers as well as transitions and alumni. We see L&D not as an organizational unit but essential business practice, habit, culture, and mindset.

As a Senior Learning & Development Expert, you will actively shape the development of LGT's culture and a modern and innovative people ecosystem. In a thriving global L&D team, you will have the following responsibilities:

  • Analyze and understand business needs and translate them into effective talent and development strategies and solutions.
  • Responsible for new people development tools in the areas of learning, diagnostics/organizational psychology, talent and succession, career, etc. from conception to implementation
  • Drive effective, modern innovations in HR development, e.g. career acceleration strategies or career models
  • Drive continuous improvement and organizational development and positively influence a culture in which learning, development and growth are supported and encouraged
  • Lead strategic, international people development projects
  • Key account partner for one of our regions (APAC or EMEA)

Your profile

  • You enjoy working in all areas of L&D practice and have in-depth knowledge especially in the areas of talent, succession and employee engagement.
  • You have several years of professional practice in modern workforce development and talent either in business and/or consulting; experience in financial services or banking is an advantage but not mandatory.
  • In addition to professional practice, you demonstrate your L&D expertise through training and qualifications, e.g. as an industrial or organizational psychologist.
  • You enjoy intellectually challenging problem solving and conceptualization, but you also like to roll up your sleeves and work on your topics until implementation and evaluation.
  • You like change and enjoy project-based work.
  • You have a strong conceptual understanding, have a forward-thinking and networked mindset, and challenge opinions.
  • You work collaboratively, credibly and build collaborations and partnerships with ease.
  • You have very good German and English language skills.
  • You are willing to travel for work - ideally you can be in Liechtenstein 2-3 days per week; other locations and models can be considered.

We offer you modern and flexible employment conditions in a working environment characterized by flat hierarchies and short decision-making paths. We rely on you as a committed and motivated employee. In return, we assign you a great deal of responsibility and thus create the opportunity for you to contribute your expertise, your quality standards and your own ideas and to actively help shape the company.

Help shape LGT and become part of a family - not just a company.
