As part of the strategic corporate development and Data Management & Analytics initiative, we are looking for a strong, enthusiastic and experienced person to take on the role of Senior Scrum Master "Data Management & Analytics".

You will work in the area of Data Analytics and Information Management. Our mission is to make data, information and insights usable for all areas of LGT - networked, secure and sustainable. From this area, we drive the strategic direction for data, information, business intelligence and artificial intelligence (AI) throughout LGT. We design, develop and support data-driven solutions and deliver insights for our internal and external clients by harnessing the potential of data and new technologies for the benefit of LGT and our clients. We rely on committed, motivated and enthusiastic employees. Together with interdisciplinary teams and in collaboration with internal and external partners, you will help to build the future-oriented data infrastructure and knowledge base and intelligent data and information management services, reporting services and AI solutions based on LGT's Enterprise Knowledge Graph (ECG).

As Scrum Master, you will play a key role in the joint planning, development and execution of product roadmaps for existing Data Management & Analytics (DMA) products as well as in the development of new DMA products. In this responsible role you will take on the following tasks:

In close cooperation with the product owners, you will manage the product backlogs and validate the requirements. In doing so, you will support the team in making appropriate commitments and developing high-quality products by selecting stories and defining tasks
Organize and facilitate sprint planning, daily scrum events, sprint reviews, retrospectives, release planning, demos and other scrum-related events. Provide overall leadership to agile teams and support them in applying the core agile principles of collaboration, prioritization, accountability, transparency and self-organization.
Identify project resource needs, coordinate with team leads, define roles and responsibilities of project team members and ensure healthy team dynamics by leading, coaching and motivating team members to meet project goals and commitments and resolve issues in a timely manner.
Proactively identify issues and risks and create action and mitigation plans. Escalate and communicate the same with stakeholders, management and through status reports.
Track and communicate team velocity and sprint progress to all affected teams and management with particular focus on dependencies, adherence to product roadmaps and demonstrated value.
Apply LGT's agile framework and project methodology and contribute your experience and learnings to LGT's interdisciplinary Agile Center of Excellence (CoE) and the central project management team to enable optimal alignment and further development of the methodology tools

Your profile

  • Completed studies or higher education in (business) informatics, data management & analytics or a comparable discipline
  • Several years of experience in (agile) project management for complex programs and projects, preferably in the financial sector
  • Very good knowledge of Scrum techniques and artifacts (e.g. user stories, definition of done, backlog refinement, automated testing, CI/CD; certified Scrum Master preferred
  • In-depth understanding of data management & analytics (e.g. data management, data architecture, business intelligence, advanced analytics), good understanding of private banking and IT issues (e.g. business analysis, software development, quality assurance)
  • High level of communication skills and servant leadership skills complemented by problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
  • High level of commitment, initiative, resilience and a strong sense of responsibility
  • Flexibility in terms of work location and willingness to support teams at the Liechtenstein and Zurich locations as required
  • Very good knowledge of German and English
