Your challenge

In order to deliver on LGT’s 2030 Net Zero Commitment, LGT PB is looking for a sustainable investing specialist with strengths in climate change investing in order to play a leading role within our Net Zero Investment strategy.  We are looking for a committed and experienced sustainable investment specialist with a strong understanding of climate change issues and how to apply them to investments.

The position entails the following responsibilities within LGT PB’s Sustainable Investment Team:

  • Serving as an expert within LGT PB on climate change issues in order to lead our Net Zero ambition level in investments
  • Responsibility for our Net Zero Investment product strategy, including the selection and development of alternative asset class investments such as nature-based investment solutions, low carbon investment strategies, Paris-aligned and Climate-transition Index strategies.
  • Integration of climate change risk assessment in investment tools used throughout LGT PB
  • Developing educational materials on climate investing for both internal and external audiences
  • Contributing to the development of LGT’s climate risk assessment framework, including the screening and selection of leading climate data providers.
  • Supporting on the development of climate transition strategies.
  • Contributing to the integration of climate data and risk assessments into LGT PB’s SI Advisory offering.
  • Contributing to LGT’s climate stewardship activities (both proxy voting and engagement).

Your profile

  • University degree or similar education and working experience in sustainable investing
  • Knowledge and experience in sustainable investing
  • A strong understanding of and experience in climate investing approaches and strategies
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Strong writing and communication skills
  • Team-player, independent and accurate working style
  • Professional, client-oriented personality
  • Fluency in English and ability to communicate in German
