LGT is the largest Private Banking and Asset Management group in the world to be owned by an entrepreneurial family. As the family office of the Princely House of Liechtenstein, we have years of experience in the management of sizeable sums of assets.
The rotational graduate role within the COO function is designed to build a strong foundation in control, governance and operational disciplines that underpin a private bank. Over the programme, you will rotate across two critical pillars of business services – Client Data Management and Product Management & Control – gaining end-to-end exposure to how client information, investment products and regulatory obligations are managed across the client lifecycle.
Rotation 1 - Client Data Management
In this rotation, you will support the integrity of client data held within the core banking system.
Ensure client data in the core banking system (Avaloq) is accurate, up to date and compliant with regulations and group policies.
Perform documentation reviews of client accounts for onboarding, periodic reviews and changes in circumstances, ensuring adherence to bank policies and regulatory requirements.
Advise Front Office on documentation and client data queries, and follow up on outstanding documentation and updates.
Analyse and update existing client data to identify and address data quality issues, taking corrective actions in collaboration with key functions.
Provide regular progress reports to the Head of Client Data Management and support any ad hoc tasks as assigned by the Head of CDM or Head of Business Services.
Rotation 2 – Product Management & Control

Suitability framework management: Maintain and enhance the bank's product suitability framework, ensuring that product risk ratings are accurate and consistently applied.
Portfolio Management (PM) controls: Assess client suitability for the onboarding of new client mandates and review the effectiveness of PM controls.
Investment marketing material: Review client-facing marketing materials prepared by Investment Services to ensure they meet regulatory requirements.
Selling process review: Conduct reviews of the selling process and the trades of dealers and advisors to ensure client suitability and compliance with internal policies.
Regulatory adherence: Act as the subject matter expert on regulations related to product sales and distribution, such as MiFID II, ensuring the bank's processes are compliant.
Stakeholder collaboration: Work closely with investment counsellors, dealers, relationship managers and the risk management team to provide guidance on product governance matters and resolve any escalations.
