eBill: simple and secure payment

- Don't miss any bills - activate the notifications for new bills
- Less paper - you receive your bills directly into your LGT SmartBanking
- Easy approval even on the go via your smartphone
Quickguide
From the registration process to "Adding invoice issuers" though to the various eBill functions: the visual Quickguide is a step-by-step, practical guide to the eBill portal for users.
How do I activate eBill?
- Activate eBill by navigating to eBill under Payments > Manage in the LGT SmartBanking menu and clicking on «Activate eBill» button.
- Select all accounts you want to activate for eBill and continue with «Next».
- Now accept the conditions for eBill and click on «Continue». You will then be directed to the eBill portal of «SIX».
- Log on to the eBill portal once. You can then add registered billers in the eBill portal.
- You will then receive your invoices directly in LGT SmartBanking and can view your open invoices in the eBill portal. With one click you release the invoice and can also determine the execution date.
Further information:
- Invoices that you have already received by post or e-mail, for example, will not appear in the eBill portal
- After the change to eBill, the invoice issuer often needs a certain transition period before the new invoices are sent via eBill. So don't be surprised if it can take one or two invoice periods before you see the invoices in LGT SmartBanking (the duration depends on the invoice issuer)
- It is possible to log in to different banks with the same eBill account. The invoice will then be displayed in the eBill portal of LGT SmartBanking and the eBill portal of the other bank, you can then decide where you want to pay the invoice. However, you must ensure that you use the same login data (e.g. e-mail address) when logging in to both online banking apps
