LGT Media Prize 2024 Many thanks for all the outstanding submissions.

That is why LGT Bank Österreich is once again offering the LGT Media Prize for 2024, thereby promoting independent and high-quality business journalism in Austria. The prize is endowed with a total of 12,000 euros and is awarded to journalists who are able to convey complex economic and financial topics in a lively, sophisticated and understandable way.

The prize is awarded for outstanding journalistic contributions in the field of economic reporting in print and/or online media that reflect the author's specialist knowledge, knowledge of economic contexts and their analysis, research effort, as well as the ability to present information in a way that is understandable to the public. Above all, it should be recognizable that the author's article deals with those developments and trends in the markets that have an impact on all areas of the economy.

The application phase for the LGT Media Prize 2024 has been completed and we are delighted to have received more than 60 submissions. We would like to thank all journalists for their excellent contributions, which once again underline the importance and high standard of business and financial journalism in Austria.

The contributions that have now been submitted for evaluation demonstrate specialist knowledge, a deep understanding of economic contexts, extensive research and the ability to make these topics accessible to a broad audience. Prizes will be awarded to the journalistic contributions that best reflect these requirements.

A high-caliber jury of experts will then decide on the award winners. The LGT Media Prize will be awarded at a ceremony hosted by LGT Bank Austria at the Gartenpalais Liechtenstein Vienna on Tuesday, June 18, 2024.

We look forward to announcing the award winners on June 18 and honoring their outstanding contributions.
