Accessibility statement

LGT is endeavouring to make its website accessible to all.
This accessibility statement applies to the following legal entity and website:

LGT Bank (Switzerland) Ltd, Basel with the website www.lgt.com/ch-en

State of compliance with requirements

LGT’s aim is to make the website accessible to all. In particular, this includes accessible use and navigation using a keyboard, as well as the use of screen readers and other technologies.

There are always new requirements and improved standards for accessibility. For this reason, we regularly check our website for any obstacles or ways to improve. In doing so, we refer to the specifications laid out in the agreement on web standards by the “World Wide Web Consortium” (abbreviated to W3C). These specifications include “Web Content Accessibility Guidelines” or WCAG.

We are working on making our web pages and content accessible, and in essential areas this is already the case. However, there are some areas where we still have to improve accessibility. In future, we will design new content for our website in a way that all people can take advantage of it.

Incompatibilities and exceptions are listed below.

Inaccessible content

1. PDF files

PDFs are required to be accessible. As it stands, the PDF documents provided on this website are not yet fully compliant with the accessibility requirements. When creating new PDF files, we endeavour to make these accessible. If you have difficulties accessing the content of PDF files, please contact us. We would be happy to provide the relevant information in a more accessible format.

2. Videos

Some videos on our website do not currently have subtitles or transcripts. We are working on providing subtitles for all relevant content.

3. SmartBanking Help and SmartBanking Pro Help

LGT operates additional digital applications, for which help pages are published on LGT’s website. The help pages can be accessed via separate microsites. Sometimes these pages are not accessible. The pages are being adapted in the course of the gradual transition towards making the digital SmartBanking application accessible and will be provided in accessible form in future. The pages of the SmartBanking Pro application are aimed at intermediaries in the B2B business, which is not subject to accessibility requirements. For this reason, these pages are not being adapted.

4. Career pages

LGT's website is also aimed at job applicants. This content is not accessible.

Creation of the accessibility statement

This statement was created on 25 June 2025 based on an assessment carried out by Init Aktiengesellschaft für digitale Kommunikation, Köpenicker Strasse 9, D-10997 Berlin.
