Payment Process & Transformation Manager (f/m/d), 80–100 % Bendern

Help shape the future of payments: In this role, you will optimise processes and systems, support change and assist colleagues with complex payments-related questions.

• Work closely with business and IT teams and represent the business requirements of the payments function.
• Lead or support cross-departmental projects across the entire payments lifecycle – from planning and implementation through to post-launch stabilisation.
• Analyse, document and improve payments processes to enhance efficiency, quality, compliance and client satisfaction.
• Identify opportunities for automation and the responsible use of AI, and support the integration of new solutions into day-to-day operations.
• Assess the impact of new regulatory requirements, support their implementation and maintain process and control documentation.
• Support colleagues in front office and operations with complex process and system questions.

• Completed commercial training or an equivalent qualification; a university degree in business administration, finance, business information systems or a related field is an advantage.
• Extensive experience in financial services and sound knowledge of the entire payments lifecycle, including payment systems, operational controls and Swiss and EU regulatory requirements.
• Demonstrated experience providing business expertise to complex, cross-departmental projects from a payments perspective.
• Ability to balance change objectives with operational stability, control quality and client needs.
• An analytical and structured approach, with the ability to clearly articulate business requirements as a basis for technical implementation and develop solutions together with a range of stakeholders.
• Strong IT skills and confidence using core banking and payment systems; knowledge of Avaloq is an advantage.
• Practical understanding of the opportunities, limitations and responsible use of AI in a banking environment.
• Very good written and verbal communication skills in German and English. You can explain complex topics clearly.
