Brochure "Sustainability at LGT 2025" out now

The brochure "Sustainability at LGT 2025" is now available. It provides an overview of progress across the three pillars of LGT’s Sustainability Strategy 2030 - clients & investments, business operations, and people & society - and shows how long-term objectives are being translated into concrete measures.

Against a backdrop of geopolitical developments and a more differentiated discussion around sustainability, the report reflects how LGT continues to pursue its strategy with a focus on measurable outcomes.

Highlights of the past year:

  • Around 80% of assets managed in Europe and Asia are invested in financial products that promote environmental or social characteristics (Article 8 SFDR), supporting clients in building more sustainable portfolios.
  • LGT continues to pursue its net-zero target by 2050, with defined interim goals and a focus on reducing emissions across operations, proprietary investments and client portfolios.
  • Active ownership further expanded: engagement with portfolio companies and voting activities were increased to support progress on climate and sustainability topics.
  • Sustainable investment solutions enhanced: advisory capabilities and thematic investment approaches were further developed, with a continued focus on portfolio decarbonisation.

The report also includes selected examples illustrating how sustainability is implemented in practice - from investments in climate technologies to initiatives in philanthropy and developments in LGT’s own operations.

LGT’s sustainability, impact investing and philanthropy activities were also recognised through several industry awards in 2025, including distinctions at the Euromoney Private Banking Awards.

Further details on LGT’s sustainability measures and initiatives can be found in the brochure "Sustainability at LGT 2025".
