The Senior Manager Risk Strategy, Insights & Innovation is responsible for designing and embedding a future state enterprise risk architecture for LGT Wealth Management in Australia, with a focus on LGT Group integration, data driven insight, responsible use of AI, and coordinated assurance across all non financial risk types.
As Senior Manager, Risk Strategy, Insights & Innovation, you will:
Design and embed the future‑state enterprise risk architecture for LGT Wealth Management Australia, aligned to LGT Group frameworks and local regulatory expectations
Lead the integration of Group risk frameworks, policies, taxonomies, systems and data into a coherent, fit‑for‑purpose local risk architecture
Drive the use of risk technology, data and analytics (including GRC tools and AI where appropriate) to enhance insight, efficiency and decision‑making
Design and lead a coordinated enterprise assurance approach across first, second and third line providers, including Internal Audit and external assurance partners
Sponsor and oversee cross‑functional thematic reviews, consolidating insights and driving timely remediation of key risk and control issues
Provide high‑quality, forward‑looking risk insights and reporting to Executive Management, Boards and risk committees
Act as a key risk partner to senior stakeholders, change initiatives and strategic programs where risk architecture or assurance is impacted
Build capability across the risk and compliance function through mentoring, guidance and targeted training
Significant experience in a senior risk, compliance, or assurance role, ideally within financial services or another regulated environment
Strong knowledge of enterprise risk management frameworks, compliance obligations and assurance practices across non‑financial risk types
Demonstrated experience designing or embedding risk frameworks, taxonomies, controls and assurance models at an enterprise level
Experience working with risk technology and GRC platforms, including leveraging data and analytics to generate forward‑looking insights
Proven ability to translate complex risk issues into clear, practical insights for Executive Management and Boards
Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the confidence to influence senior leaders and partner across the business
A strategic, structured and pragmatic mindset, balanced with strong attention to detail and sound professional judgement
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience preparing high‑quality reporting and presentations
A relevant tertiary qualification in finance, business, economics or a related discipline
Exposure to AI‑enabled tools and analytics
