LGT has once again earned Great Place to Work certification. In the independent employee survey, 86 % of respondents said they consider LGT a great place to work. They particularly value its welcoming culture, collegial environment and the trust placed in them.
The certification is based on a worldwide employee survey conducted independently by Great Place to Work, a consulting and research institute, in September 2026. The survey covered LGT’s 13 markets: Liechtenstein, Switzerland, Austria, the United Kingdom, Germany, Spain, Singapore, Hong Kong, Thailand, Australia, Japan, India and the United Arab Emirates. It assesses workplace culture across five dimensions: credibility, respect, fairness, pride and camaraderie. More than 4100 employees, representing 81 % of LGT's workforce, took part in the survey. LGT previously received global certification following its last worldwide survey in 2023.
According to the survey, 86 % of respondents consider LGT a Great Place to Work. Employees particularly appreciate LGT's welcoming culture and collegial environment. Eighty-nine per cent are proud to work at LGT. They value the trust placed in them and report that their managers encourage initiative and personal responsibility. The results further point to a strongly inclusive culture, with 90 % of respondents saying that people at LGT act honestly and ethically. Employees also express strong confidence in the quality of service they provide.
In addition to the survey, the certification process involves a Culture Audit. Participating companies provide specific examples of how their workplace culture is put into practice and explain how internal processes, systems and policies support it.
"We are pleased to receive this recognition. LGT has grown substantially since our last survey in 2023, and the latest findings show that trust, respect and collaboration remain important strengths of our culture. Maintaining and developing these strengths as we grow requires continued attention," says Olivier de Perregaux, CEO LGT Private Banking. "The independent assessment helps us understand what we are doing well, and where we can improve. We will work on those areas together with our employees, so that they can continue to feel proud to be part of LGT."
The international institute Great Place to Work has been collecting and analysing data to assess workplace culture in organisations for over 30 years. Each year, the institute works with over 22 000 companies around the world and surveys around 20 million employees in more than 180 countries.
