Information under the Austrian Accessibility Act Online banking services

On this page we describe our online banking services. The LGT SmartBanking app and website are used for online banking with LGT Bank AG Zweigniederlassung Österreich. Therefore, these are services that we provide for you online.

If necessary, we make occasional use of certain technical terms which are specified by law and which we explain in the following text.

This page is for information purposes only. The agreement that you conclude with LGT Bank AG Zweigniederlassung Österreich (referred to in brief as LGT Österreich) contains the legal provisions.

Which services are available via LGT SmartBanking?

We offer the following services:

  • Asset overview (a complete overview of your assets)
  • Performance overview (an overview of the growth in your securities and assets)
  • Details of your account and your assets
  • Details of your loans
  • Issuing instructions for securities transactions

  • Other services:
    • Online mailbox and document archive
    • Notifications
    • Communication with your client advisor via LGT SmartBanking
    • Digital signatures for forms

What do you need in order to use LGT SmartBanking?

You need the following things to use LGT SmartBanking: 

  • A customer number and a password 
  • A preferred authorisation method must be given in the agreement on the use of LGT SmartBanking for the purpose of authorising individual instructions. The possible methods are a fingerprint, facial recognition, an unlock code or a password. Your client advisor or our LGT SmartBanking hotline will help you if necessary, for example if you have forgotten your details or would like to register a new device.

    Each individual payment or securities instruction must be “signed” (authorised) by you using the method you have chosen.

Your client advisor will give you your first password and the activation letter for your first use of LGT SmartBanking. You must keep these access details (personal identification features) secret.
