Accessibility requirements

Everyone should be able to use products and services without restrictions, for example via digital channels such as the website. This is referred to as “accessible use”. The regulations for this are laid down in an act of law. In Austria, this Act is known as the Accessibility Act. We aim to ensure that all our products and services which fall within the scope of the Act are accessible.

Below you will find information about the services we offer. The language used in this information is not above level B2 (upper intermediate) of the Common European Framework for Languages (CEFR) of the Council of Europe.

New requirements and improved standards for accessibility are constantly being introduced. For this reason, we regularly check our website for any problems or areas for improvement. We base these checks on the specifications of EN 301 549 (the European standard concerning accessibility requirements for ICT products and services) and the web standards of the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). These standards are also known as the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines or WCAG.
