About us

LGT is the largest Private Banking and Asset Management group in the world to be owned by an entrepreneurial family. As the family office of the Princely House of Liechtenstein, we have years of experience in the management of sizeable sums of assets.

Your challenge

As Global Talent, Careers & Development Lead (f/m/d) within our global Learning & Development team, you will design and drive LGT’s approach to careers, talent and succession management. In this strategic individual contributor role, you connect the dots across talent, leadership development, careers, people growth and transformation – creating people-centric solutions that foster growth, enhance performance, and strengthen our long-term talent pipeline.

Beyond classic talent and career topics, you will play a key role in shaping and enabling our people growth and transformation agenda – for example through the conceptualisation of our Development Dialogue, the support of organisational transformations, and the development of future-ready capabilities.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys thinking systemically across L&D, HR and broader People & Culture topics and who values end-to-end responsibility: from ideation through to delivery, evaluation, and continuous improvement.

Based in Bendern (LI), you will collaborate closely with HR colleagues and business leaders worldwide to build future-ready solutions that enable our people – and our company – to grow.

We are hiring for potential and welcome applications from candidates with the ambition to further shape LGT’s approach to integrated talent management, people growth and transformation – and to personally grow in this strategic role.

Your Responsibilities

Lead integrated talent management globally, including talent and succession frameworks, governance, and annual cycles, ensuring alignment with LGT’s strategy, people agenda and future capabilities needs.

  • Independently design and execute key programmes such as transition programmes, mentoring, career mobility, and high-potential initiatives – and connect these with broader leadership, people growth and transformation initiatives.

  • Further develop the global career framework and its linkage to regulatory and transparency requirements in close collaboration with relevant HR teams, while ensuring meaningful connections to our learning offering, Development Dialogue and internal mobility.

  • Act as strategic advisor to senior leaders, HR Business Partners, and colleagues on talent, succession, people growth and development matters, using data and insights to inform decisions and priorities.

  • Shape and further develop the conceptual backbone of key People & Culture instruments – for example the Development Dialogue – including underlying frameworks, processes, guidance and communication elements.

  • Contribute to the design and implementation of initiatives that support the ISG transformation and the evolution of how we grow and develop our people at LGT, partnering with HR and business stakeholders to translate strategic ambitions into concrete people practices and interventions.

  • Help build a structured view on “New Skills” and future capabilities needed at LGT and integrate this perspective into talent, development and career concepts (e.g. talent reviews, development pathways, learning offerings).

  • Foster a strong learning and growth culture by promoting lifelong learning, internal mobility, and development-driven careers across all levels of the organisation.

  • Manage key stakeholders, vendors, and budgets for your portfolio, ensuring high quality, scalability, and measurable impact of programmes and initiatives.

  • Drive continuous improvement and innovation by experimenting with digital, data-driven, and evidence-based approaches to integrated talent and people growth topics, while remaining ready to “roll up your sleeves” and handle operational tasks where needed.

Your profile

  • Educational background: University degree (Bachelor’s or Master’s) in social sciences, business, human resources, organisational development, psychology, or a related field.
  • Professional experience: Several years of relevant experience – either in-house or as consultant – in Learning & Development, Talent Management, Organisational or People Development, Culture Development, or Transformation / Change Management; experience in financial services or a similarly regulated, international environment is an advantage.
  • Track record: Proven ability to design and implement impactful, data-informed talent, people growth and development solutions (e.g. talent reviews, succession processes, development programmes, career frameworks, dialogue formats) that support organisational goals and transformation.
  • Strategic, innovative and hands-on mindset: Ability to think conceptually and systemically across different HR, L&D and People & Culture domains (talent, careers, people development, transformation, future capabilities), while being comfortable with operational tasks, detailed follow-up, and independent end-to-end execution.
  • Stakeholder management and communication: Excellent collaboration skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships, influence senior stakeholders, and communicate clearly with diverse audiences.
  • Language skills & technology affinity: Fluent in German and English. Confident user of MS Office and digital HR tools, with openness to leveraging new technologies for talent, people growth and development topics.

Please note that we cannot consider applications via recruitment agencies for this position.
