Your challenge

Key responsibilities

  • Design and run HR quality assurance reviews across the employee lifecycle, including, but not limited to various topics such as hiring, onboarding, performance management, transfers, disciplinary matters and exits.
  • Review HR documentation and processes to ensure required steps are completed, documented and properly evidenced.
  • Maintain the HR controls inventory, track control gaps, support root-cause analysis and follow up on remediation actions.
  • Coordinate HR input for internal audits, external audits and regulatory reviews.
  • Own and maintain the HR policy library, including drafting, review, approval, publication and annual refresh.
  • Ensure HR policies remain aligned with Singapore employment law, MAS requirements and internal bank standards.
  • Maintain the HR risk register and support RCSA, incident management and key risk indicator tracking.
  • Build and maintain HR dashboards and management reporting covering areas such as headcount, attrition, hiring, training compliance, conduct, disciplinary trends and leave data.
  • Provide practical HR advisory support to managers and HR colleagues on policy, process and governance matters.
  • Contribute to HR process improvement, controls enhancement and digitisation initiative

Your profile

    • 7–10 years of relevant experience in HR governance, HR risk, HR controls, HR compliance, audit or operational risk, preferably in a bank or MAS-regulated financial institution.

    • Strong knowledge of Singapore employment and HR regulations, including the Employment Act, CPF, work passes, PDPA, Retirement and Re-employment Act, and MOM/TAFEP Tripartite Guidelines.

    • Good understanding of relevant MAS expectations, including individual accountability, fit and proper standards, conduct risk, operational risk, outsourcing, technology risk, and AML/CFT training or staff screening.

    • Experience reviewing or testing HR controls across the employee lifecycle, including hiring, onboarding, performance management, disciplinary matters, grievances, exits and record retention.

    • Hands-on experience with HR quality assurance, control testing, audit coordination, RCSA, risk registers, issue tracking and management reporting.

    • Strong policy management, analytical, stakeholder management and communication skills, with high attention to detail and discretion in handling confidential HR matters.
