Your challenge

  • You manage and monitor ongoing payroll processing in collaboration with the external provider and ensure data quality and that HR systems are kept up to date

  • You advise HR colleagues and managers on matters relating to payroll, compensation, employment law, social security and payroll tax

  • You coordinate the annual compensation process and implement compensation measures in collaboration with the HR Business Partners and Group HR

  • You prepare, analyse and interpret compensation and equal pay reports and derive recommendations for action

  • You monitor legislative, regulatory and internal developments and ensure compliance with the collective agreement, equal pay requirements, employment law and other compensation-related provisions

  • You contribute to projects, particularly the implementation of the EU Pay Transparency Directive, and drive the optimisation, digitalisation and automation of HR processes within your area of responsibility

Your profile

  • Completed commercial training and examinations in payroll accounting and employment law, or a degree with a focus on HR or law, or a comparable qualification

  • Several years of professional experience in an HR role, with a focus on HR operations and expertise in employment law; experience in the banking sector would be an advantage

  • Sound knowledge of HR systems, such as Workday and Sage DPW, as well as excellent Excel skills and an interest in AI use cases

  • Strong advisory skills and a professional, solution-oriented approach when working with a range of stakeholders

  • A structured, accurate and service-oriented way of working

  • Fluency in written and spoken German and English

For this two-year fixed-term position providing parental leave cover, the annual gross starting salary is at least € 48,000. The specific salary will be determined based on the candidate’s individual qualifications and relevant professional experience. Additional voluntary benefits and other compensation components will be discussed during the interview process. The employment relationship is governed by the Collective Agreement for Employees of Banks and Bankers.
