Your challenge

Brief role objective:

We are looking for an experienced, motivated, proactive and highly organised Senior Marketing Manager to take responsibility for the implementation of the marketing plan, alongside the LGT Wealth Management Marketing Team. In particular this role will be responsible for delivering the firm’s brand awareness strategy and leading on the sustainability driven marketing activites. This role is a generalist marketing role, covering all aspects of the marketing mix.

Key responsibilities

Brand awareness strategy

  • Work with the Head of Marketing and external agency to develop the firm’s H2 brand advertising campaign. This will include:
    • Managing the relationship with the external agency
    • Reviewing and developing ideas for the creative and for the media planning strategy
    • Developing strong working relationship with Group marketing counterparts
    • Delivering to agreed timings
    • Manage appropriate stakeholder sign off
    • Working with the Digital Marketing Manager on reporting, customer journey mapping on the website and conversions. 
  • PR
    • Work with Head of Marketing to deliver the firm’s PR strategy for all target audiences  
    • Manage the relationship with the external agency
    • Manage appropriate stakeholder sign off

Lead on sustainability driven marketing activities from both an investing and operational perspective, including delivering the sustainable marketing plan.

  • This will include delivering across the full marketing mix of events, digital, communications, PR, advertising and social.
  • Lead the creation of the Sustainable 360 report, including copy writing, design and associated campaign.
  • Lead the creation of the Impact Report, including copy writing, design and associated campaign.

Take ownership for delivering the marketing plan for LGT Wealth Management US, including building a strong working relationship with the business.

  • This will include delivering across the full marketing mix of events, digital, communications, PR, advertising, partnerships and social.

Client journey strategy

  • Develop new marketing material where required, for example brochures, reports etc. to support the prospect to client journey, taking responsibility for copywriting, design and liaising with the appropriate internal stakeholders as well as the external designer.
     

Serve as the Marketing team’s representative on diversity and inclusion committee, #included

  • Collaborate with #included to develop initiatives that engage diverse audiences and provide marketing support on various workstreams as required, including leading on the Lord Mayor’s Appeal We Can Be event, alongside the Gender Workstream lead.
  • Ensure marketing strategies and campaigns reflect our commitment to diversity and inclusivity.

Events

  • Work with the Events Manager on the delivery of the firm’s flagship event programme, where required.

Projects and campaigns

  • Take responsibility for ad hoc projects and campaigns depending on critical business needs.
     

Act as line manager to two junior Marketing professionals

  • Support, manage and develop both individuals, providing guidance and mentorship to foster their professional growth and ensure alignment with the team’s goals and strategies.

Branding

  • Act as brand guardian, ensuring that brand and communications guidelines are maintained across marketing and event-related assets.
  • Work with external design agency on creation of new marketing material.

Your skills

  • Proven experience as a generalist Senior Marketing Manager, including event experience, project management experience, copywriting and experience in managing external agencies .
  • Excellent organisational and project management skills.
  • Solution-oriented attitude.
  • Experience managing or supervising other team members.
  • A team player with ability to take the lead.
  • Ability to perform well under pressure.
  • High attention to deal.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite of products, especially Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
