Your challenge

  • Act as the First Line of Defense (FLD) to implement and strengthen the selling process and investment suitability framework within the Front Office, Singapore.

  • Provide guidance to Front Office on suitability and selling process.

  • Conduct pre-determined, systematic, and comprehensive risk-based monitoring and review of Front Office activities covering areas including suitability, cross border and pricing, etc and prepare reports for management attention.

  • Participate in system and management projects related to enhancing the control landscape.

  • Strengthen the support to cross border and pricing review framework through continuous development of review program, system update and policy enhancements.

  • Assist the Head of Business Risk Management, Singapore on ad hoc tasks.

Your profile

  • University graduate, with at least 5 years of experience in Private Banking / Asset Management business risk and controls.

  • Experience in dealing with regulatory compliance, audits, and remediation work especially in products and investor suitability.

  • Strong interpersonal communication skills especially with senior bankers and management levels.

  • Solution driver and proactive in finding alternatives to solve issues.

  • Proficiency in MS Office. MS Power BI / Tableau, Avaloq knowledge and experience will be a plus.

  • Proficiency in additional language such as Hindi, Cantonese, Japanese, Korean, or Bahasa will be a plus.
