How to set up LGT SmartBanking

LGT SmartBanking provides you with the flexibility to access online banking services through our website on your computer, smartphone, or tablet. Additionally, our LGT SmartBanking app allows you to access our platform on your smartphone or tablet. To get started, all you need to do is sign up, register, and log in. We will guide you through this process:

Apply

If you do not have access to online banking yet, please contact your customer advisor or send us a message. We will grant you personal access and provide you with all the information you need.

Register

Once you receive the access data, you can easily register in no time on your smartphone or tablet (via the LGT SmartBanking app, available for iOS and Android). Alternatively, you can also register via a web browser on your computer or laptop.

Log in

After the brief registration process you will be able to use online banking straight away. Log in to the LGT SmartBanking app or via a web browser by entering your user ID and password, click on “Login” and discover all the features of LGT SmartBanking.

Technical requirements and security

At LGT, we prioritize the security of your data. We store all information in encrypted and redundant form in highly secure, fail-safe data centers. Additionally, we continuously update our hardware and software and maintain the highest and strictest security standards. To ensure that you can access your data securely, it is important that your computer and smartphone or tablet meet certain technical requirements.

Do you need support?

Contact us if you cannot find the answer to your question in the online help or if something is not working as it should. Our online banking support team is available between 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. every weekday and will be happy to assist you. 

In the event of a system or security incident (e.g. loss of password, unauthorized communications etc.), you should immediately report the incident to LGT Bank AG, Hong Kong Branch (the "Bank") by contacting your relationship manager through other modes of communication such as e-mail or telephone.
