About LGT Venture Philanthropy
LGT Venture Philanthropy (LGT VP) is an independent charitable foundation established by LGT Group Foundation in 2007, alongside the Princely Family of Liechtenstein's vision of creating a lasting, positive impact on people and planet. Headquartered in Zurich, Switzerland, with regional offices in Kenya and India, our mission is to improve the quality of life of people facing disadvantages, contribute to healthy ecosystems, and build resilient, inclusive, and prosperous communities. LGT VP works through long-term partnerships with locally rooted organisations delivering effective, scalable solutions across health, education, and the environment.
Central to LGT VP's current strategy are three Solutions Portfolios, each supported by LGT VP and a collective of funders: Ahadi (community-led nature conservation in Eastern Africa), SIRA (early childhood development in India), and Blue Oceans (marine and coastal conservation globally) which bring together implementers, funders, and policymakers to address complex social and environmental challenges at scale. Since 2007, LGT VP has supported 83 organisations, reaching 29 million people with better access to quality services in 2024. In 2027, LGT VP will celebrate its 20th anniversary, a landmark moment of acceleration and ambitious growth, and an exciting time to join the team.
