LGT career
The newly published brochure Sustainability at LGT 2024 charts concrete progress across the three pillars of the Sustainability Strategy 2030 – Clients and Investments, Business and Operations, People and Society – and showcases how LGT is turning long-term ambitions into measurable results. Interviews with experts and in-depth features on climate action, stewardship and philanthropy provide additional insight and inspiration.
Highlights from the past year
67 % of electricity and 60 % of heating energy used worldwide already come from renewable sources, while total energy consumption per employee has fallen by 23.5 % since 2019.
Around 80 % of discretionary assets managed in Europe and Asia now qualify as Article 8 products that promote environmental or social characteristics, giving clients broader options for sustainable portfolio construction.
Active ownership intensified: LGT Private Banking voted at 240 shareholder meetings on 3 700 agenda items and joined initiatives such as Climate Action 100+ and Nature Action 100 to amplify climate and biodiversity engagement.
A separate LGT Stewardship Report 2024 provides a detailed view of engagement activities and voting outcomes for the year.
