Abacus Finance and Power BI Specialist 80-100% (f/m/d) Bendern

We are looking for a highly skilled and analytical Abacus Finance and Power BI Specialist to strengthen our team at LGT Financial Services AG. In this key role, you will support our financial reporting and analysis activities, with a particular focus on the use of Abacus Finance and Controlling solutions as well as the development of insightful Power BI dashboards.

• Abacus system management: Administration, maintenance and optimisation of the Abacus system.
• Data extraction and transformation: Extract, transform and load financial data from various source systems into Abacus and other reporting platforms.
• Report creation and validation: Prepare financial reports using Abacus and Microsoft Power BI, ensuring accuracy, completeness and timely delivery, as well as conducting comprehensive data validations.
• Power BI dashboard development: Design, develop and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards to visualise financial performance indicators, trends and regulatory data.
• Data analysis and insights: Conduct detailed financial data analyses, identify trends and anomalies, and derive meaningful recommendations to support decision-making processes.
• Process optimisation: Proactively identify and implement improvements in data management, reporting processes and system functionalities related to Abacus and Power BI.
• Stakeholder collaboration: Work closely with Finance, Risk, IT and other relevant departments to understand reporting requirements and provide efficient solutions.
• Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of Abacus configurations, Power BI reports, data models and reporting processes.
• User support and training: Provide support and training to end users in the use of Abacus and Power BI functionalities.
   

• Completed further education in Finance, Accounting, Business Information Systems or a comparable field.
• At least 3–5 years of professional experience working with financial data, reporting and analysis in the financial services industry.
• Proven hands-on experience with accounting software; experience with Abacus is an advantage.
• Sound experience in developing and maintaining Power BI dashboards.
• Demonstrated expertise in the use of reporting software; experience with Abacus is an advantage.
• Very good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions and pivot tables.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Power BI.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, combined with a high level of quality awareness and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to explain complex data and technical topics clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
• A proactive, self-motivated and results-oriented working style, with a strong commitment to quality and accuracy.
• Fluency in English is required; very good German language skills are a significant advantage.
