As a member of the development team for securities trading, you will help to further automate, develop and support the core banking system Avaloq as well as the trading system FrontArena. This includes the implementation of projects and change requests, but also the elimination of bugs and issues as well as cooperation in release changes and development of new / expansion of existing interfaces. You will work closely with other development teams, business analysts and departmental staff.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Responsibility for the design, realization, documentation and implementation of enhancements in the area of securities trading in the core banking system Avaloq and various peripheral systems such as Front Arena and others.
• Support of our trading department for there daily business
• Coordination of enhancements and release changes of the peripheral systems with the respective vendors
• Implementation of scripts and software code from projects
• Support and maintenance of applications and interfaces

• Completed higher education in the field of computer science or cf. relevant experience
• Experience in parameterization of trading relevant frameworks in Avaloq (using Avaloq Script).
• Advantageous are:
  • Experience in the parameterization of FrontArena
  • Knowledge of UNIX, Oracle, GIT, Bash, Python
  • Knowledge of common trading protocols such as FIX
  • IT experience in a trading or banking environment
• High quality awareness coupled with analytical and conceptual skills
• Motivation to participate in continuous professional development
• Good command of written and spoken English, any other languages are beneficial
