LGT received the top rating of "Excellence" in the 2025 ESG Transparency Awards and was recognised as a "Leading Company".
The independent institute EUPD Research presented LGT with the ESG Transparency Award 2025. This award recognises the exceptional transparency and quality of LGT's sustainability reporting, highlighting its leading position in sustainable corporate governance.
"Transparency is the key to credible sustainability. Our stakeholders and society expect clear and reliable information about our ESG activities", says Ursula Finsterwald, Head Group Sustainability Management at LGT. "This award confirms that sustainability is firmly embedded in our organisation and that we communicate about it transparently."
The ESG Transparency Award recognises organisations that document their pioneering sustainability strategies in an exemplary manner and make them available to the public. The jury particularly considers the accessibility, comprehensibility, structure and relevance of sustainability reports from companies in over 19 industries across Europe. It recognises institutions that set new standards with their reporting and transparently explain how they contribute to environmental and social change. "This is about much more than simply disclosing data – the award-winning companies take responsibility for their actions and demonstrate accountability", the ESG Transparency Committee emphasises in its report.
