LGT reports comprehensively on its sustainability efforts as part of strategy of transparency. Our Sustainability Report 2022 is now available. Detailing how we are improving our corporate footprint, it is aimed at anyone who would like more information on how we exercise our responsibility in environmental, social, and governance issues.
The report, which for the first time contains digital content to augment the print product, also details how we are scaling our investments to become more sustainable. The Sustainability Report 2022 can be viewed as a PDF-file, digitally at the link below, or as a printed brochure.
As in previous years, our reporting suite includes regulatory obligations. LGT Group's Non-Financial Report was prepared in accordance with the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) standard, the most widely used worldwide standard in the preparation of sustainability reports. The Non-Financial Report provides information on key economic, environmental and social topics as well as on LGT Group's corporate governance. In addition, it includes disclosure as required by European Union Taxonomy.
To communicate its climate-related financial risks, LGT Private Banking reports annually in accordance with the recommendations of the Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD). The report explains how LGT assesses, evaluates and mitigates climate risks. LGT also publishes a report in accordance with the Principles for Responsible Banking (PRB).
For the first time, LGT’s sustainability report includes a Stewardship Report. The term refers to the active dialog between investors and companies - an important next step on the way to net zero by 2030. The Stewardship Report illustrates how LGT understands and implements its role of responsible investor.
