In 18 months, you build up knowledge for your target function as a Business Intelligence Specialist / Market Risk Manager and get to know other business units. You will not only expand your professional expertise but also develop your social and personal skills through exciting seminars, such as the onboarding week in Liechtenstein, and interactions with internal and external experts. A particular highlight is the two-week seminar in Singapore, where you will gain insights into Asian Private Banking and work on a joint project. During your time as a graduate, you will be accompanied by an experienced mentor who will support you in your professional and personal development. In your future role as a Business Intelligence Specialist / Market Risk Manager in Trading & Treasury, we focus on the following tasks:
Business Intelligence:
Continuously improve Business Intelligence (BI) processes and tools to meet evolving business needs
Analyze data, develop dynamic dashboards, generate reports to support decision-making processes
Translate business requests from senior management into valuable dashboard enhancements
Collaborate with IT and other departments to integrate new data sources and ensure seamless data flow
Perform various administrative tasks for the Trading & Treasury function, including preparation of management reports, insightful presentations, analyses, etc
Market Risk Management:
Apply risk models and methods to manage trading limits, including Value at Risk (VaR), stress-testing and scenario analysis
Use risk management software and tools, and demonstrate advanced proficiency with MS Office products, particularly Excel, Power BI, Fabric and VBA, as well as SQL
A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Banking/Finance or a related field with very good academic results, obtained within the last 18 months
Excellent command of German and English
Affinity for trading, trading products, and financial markets. Derivatives knowledge would be a strong Plus.
Interest in BI tools like PowerBI, with the ability to create comprehensive and insightful dashboards.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
A passion for optimizing and improving existing processes with high accuracy and attention to detail.
Competence in identifying issues, analyzing situations, and developing effective solutions
Willingness to consider new ideas, perspectives, and experiences, and to challenge existing beliefs or assumptions
Ability to work and deliver effectively within and across teams to achieve common goals as well as contributing to a positive atmosphere
Identification with LGT and its values
