Your challenge

In 18 months, you build up knowledge for your target function as a Business Manager in Investment Solutions Europe and get to know other business units. You will not only expand your professional expertise but also develop your social and personal skills through exciting seminars, such as the onboarding week in Liechtenstein, and interactions with internal and external experts. A particular highlight is the two-week seminar in Singapore, where you will gain insights into Asian Private Banking and work on a joint project. During your time as a graduate, you will be accompanied by an experienced mentor who will support you in your professional and personal development. In your future role as a Business Manager in Investment Solutions Europe, we focus on the following tasks:

  • Support and co-drive strategic projects across Investment Solutions, from initial idea to implementation, working with cross-functional and cross-regional teams.

  • Analyse, optimise and document business processes (e.g. in Portfolio Management and Advisory), identifying efficiency gains, synergies and quality improvements.

  • Prepare high-quality management materials (presentations, status reports, decision papers) and support effective stakeholder communication and alignment.

  • Help build and automate data and reporting solutions, including management information systems (MIS), to better steer and grow our investment businesses.

  • Contribute to revenue and business initiatives through thorough business and data analysis, and support the implementation and change management of new systems and tools, leveraging automation and AI where appropriate.

Your profile

  • A very good current bachelor’s or master’s degree (graduation max. 18 months ago) in Banking, Finance, Economics or a related field

  • Strong interest in project management as well as in financial markets and investment services

  • Openness in direct client interaction and proactive engagement with clients and internal stakeholders, combined with a confident and professional presence

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex topics in a clear and accessible way to different audiences

  • Strong customer orientation and proficiency in conveying information and ideas effectively to various audience

  • Excellent command of German and English

  • Competence in identifying issues, analyzing situations, and developing effective solutions

  • Willingness to consider new ideas, perspectives, and experiences, and to challenge existing beliefs or assumptions

  • Ability to work and deliver effectively within and across teams to achieve common goals as well as contributing to a positive atmosphere

  • Identification with LGT and its values

  • Interest in a long-term commitment to LGT
