About us

LGT is the world’s largest family-owned and managed Private Banking and Asset Management Group. For more than 100 years it has been fully owned and managed by the Princely House of Liechtenstein, which is also one of our biggest clients.
With around 600 employees, LGT Bank Switzerland has established itself as a renowned Swiss private bank and is an excellent address for both wealthy private clients and employees - this was also confirmed last year by the independent institute "Great Place To Work", which awarded LGT Bank Switzerland the title of one of the best employers in Switzerland.

Your challenge

Over the course of 18 months, you will get to know various business areas and build comprehensive knowledge for your target role as Relationship Officer Intermediaries. You will not only expand your technical expertise, but also develop your social and personal skills through exciting seminars – for example the onboarding week in Liechtenstein – and through exchanges with internal and external experts. A particular highlight is the two‑week seminar in Singapore, where you will gain insights into Asian private banking and work on a joint project. Throughout your time as a Graduate, you will be accompanied by an experienced mentor who will support you in your professional and personal development. In line with our sustainable corporate philosophy, you will also have the opportunity to get involved in a social project. Make use of these diverse opportunities, build your network, and lay the foundation for your long‑term career at LGT.

For your future role as Relationship Officer in the Intermediaries segment, we focus on the following responsibilities:

  • Creating added value through individual, needs‑based advice for intermediaries (external asset managers and fund managers) and their clients

  • Comprehensive support and servicing of external asset managers and their demanding clientele in all operational matters

  • Ongoing expansion of the existing client base as well as operational responsibility for the relationships with external asset managers and their end clients

  • Responsibility for the ongoing due‑diligence review of the client base

  • Supporting the Relationship Managers and the Team Head in specialist matters such as internal clarifications, market research, preparing analyses and presentations, etc.

  • Independent handling of our clients’ ongoing day‑to‑day requests, monitoring stock exchange orders and taking on even complex clarifications for the onboarding of new clients as well as their subsequent servicing

  • Acting as a fully‑fledged deputy for the Relationship Managers and building up your own network

  • Active participation in acquisition activities, building and maintaining long‑term client relationships, and further developing the client base

  • Targeted use of our range of services and products (financing solutions, private market products, private label funds, sustainability, philanthropy, wealth planning, family advisory, etc.)

  • Further development of the intermediaries business and their clients through participation in projects

Your profile

  • A very good Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, preferably in economics or business administration (degree obtained no more than 18 months ago)

  • Excellent written and spoken German and English; additional foreign languages are an advantage

  • Strong client orientation and communication skills

  • Analytical skills, a pronounced solution-oriented mindset and strong organizational talent

  • Ability to work in a team and willingness to go the extra mile

  • Identification with LGT and its values

  • Interest in a long-term commitment at LGT

  • Strong affinity for advising external asset managers and fund managers

  • Capacity for innovation, initiative and dedication combined with high quality standards
