Your challenge

  • Answering questions regarding tax law (focus on capital gains tax but also VAT and corporate income tax). 
  • Participation in the implementation of adjustments in the core banking system in the event of new or amended tax-relevant laws and guidelines. 
  • Elaboration, further development and appraisal of tax-relevant forms. 
  • Review and cooperation in the introduction of new products and services.
  • Implementation and monitoring of FTT initiatives
  • Design of tax reporting (also for foreign jurisdictions)
  • Collaboration and also preparation of directives and guidelines in the tax area as well as review of internal tax-relevant directives and guidelines
  • Interface function in the handling of tax audits and other procedures of the bank in tax matters 
  • Support of preparation of tax returns for the Austrian units of LGT Group in cooperation with Finance
  • Support preparation and update of transfer pricing documentation in cooperation with Finance
  • Communication with tax advisors and financial and tax authorities
  • Reviewing new or amended tax-relevant laws and guidelines and providing information on them to the respective internally responsible units.
  • Collaborate in projects (e.g. DAC 6, DAC 8) and host internal trainings

Your profile

  • Graduated from an Austrian business or law school
  • Relevant professional experience (e.g. working in a tax department in the financial services sector or in tax consulting); tax advisor examination an advantage 
  • Sound knowledge of tax law (especially in the area of corporate taxes and capital gains tax)
  • Very good oral and written skills in German and English 
  • Good analytical skills and quick comprehension
  • Service-oriented team player with high social competence
  • Exact and conscientious way of working as well as high willingness to perform
  • Professional appearance and excellent manners

The salary we offer is significantly higher than the gross minimum salary of EUR 2.927,20 p.m. stipulated by the collective agreement for banks and bankers and is based on your qualifications and professional experience.
