Lead, coach, and develop a team of credit risk managers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment
Oversee the continuous assessment, measurement, and reporting of credit and collateral risks across various portfolios and products
Develop and implement robust credit risk methodologies, models, and stress testing scenarios
Ensure the timely and accurate monitoring of collateral values and the effectiveness of collateral management processes
Collaborate with front, risk controlling, and other internal departments to identify and mitigate emerging credit risks
Prepare comprehensive risk reports and presentations for senior management and relevant committees
Stay abreast of regulatory developments and industry best practices in credit and collateral risk management, ensuring compliance
Participate in the assessment and structuring of Lombard Special transactions
Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of the risk monitoring and relevant processes
Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field; alternatively, a relevant university degree in Banking & Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
Experience in credit risk- or collateral management within the banking industry, preferably in private banking or wealth management
Leadership experience in a team lead or managerial role is an advantage
Strong understanding of credit risk methodologies, regulatory requirements and collateral valuation techniques
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and draw actionable conclusions
Advanced Excel skills, as well as experience with Avaloq, Bloomberg, and data analytics or reporting tools (e.g. Power BI), are a strong plus
Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken
Good communication and interpersonal skills
