1 From which sources do the data originate (source) and which data are processed (categories of data)?

You can register for LGT events. The necessary data must be entered for this. Personal data, in particular the following categories of data, are also processed:

  • contact information

Photographs or video recordings ("images") will be taken during an LGT event. Images in which you are not in focus (e.g. group photos) can be used for the purposes of internal and external communications and public relations work (e.g. in newspapers, reports and brochures). They can also be published online (e.g. on websites) and used on our social media channels as well as for documentation purposes.

  • Image data (e.g. videos, photos)

2 For what purposes and on what legal basis are your data processed?

The data will be used for the purposes of organizing and executing the event.

We process data and images (e.g. photos) on the basis of the legitimate interest of the LGT Group or third parties (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR). If you do not agree, please contact the photographer and/or to the LGT local representation. If we wish to put you in the foreground of the images, we will obtain your consent.

We reserve the right to continue processing personal data collected for one of the above purposes for the other purposes if this is compatible with the original purpose or if permitted or required by law. For the disclosure of personal data in all other cases, the consent of the data subjects will be obtained.

3 How long are the data stored for?

Access to the personal data is granted to those internal and external entities that need the data to fulfill the purpose. In the case of group events, this data may be forwarded to the LGT Group (Principality of Liechtenstein) for these purposes. Your data will only be forwarded to third parties (e.g. hotels) if this is necessary for the organisation and implementation of the event. If the registration contains data about third parties, you confirm that these third parties agree to the transfer and processing of their data in the context of the event.

4 What data protection rights do you have?

You have the following data protection rights with regard to your personal data (Art. 15 to 21 GDPR):

4.1 Right of access

You may obtain from us information as to whether and to what extent personal data concerning you are being processed (e.g. categories of personal data concerned, purpose of processing).

4.2 Right to rectification, erasure, and restriction of processing

You have the right to obtain without undue delay the rectification of inaccurate or incomplete personal data concerning you. In addition, your personal data must be erased if these data are no longer necessary in relation to the purposes for which they were collected or processed, you have withdrawn your consent, or these data are being unlawfully processed. Furthermore, you have the right to obtain restriction of processing.

4.3 Right of withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw your consent for the processing of your personal data for one or more specific purposes at any time if processing is based on your explicit consent. The revocation of consent will only have future effect and does not affect the legality of data processed before the revocation. The withdrawal does not have any effect on data processing based on other legal bases either.
