LGT is the world’s largest family-owned and managed Private Banking and Asset Management Group. For more than 100 years it has been fully owned and managed by the Princely House of Liechtenstein, which is also one of our biggest clients.
With around 600 employees, LGT Bank Switzerland has established itself as a renowned Swiss private bank and is an excellent address for both wealthy private clients and employees - this was also confirmed last year by the independent institute "Great Place To Work", which awarded LGT Bank Switzerland the title of one of the best employers in Switzerland.
To strengthen our Private Banking Onshore team in Basel, we are looking for a committed and reliable individual to join us as an Assistant Relationship Manager. Working in close cooperation with the Relationship Managers, you will help ensure the professional servicing of our Swiss onshore clientele and contribute to the high service quality of our bank.
Your tasks
Proactive and structured support of the Relationship Managers in the servicing of onshore clients (preparation of client meetings, follow-up of pending items, correspondence, documentation).
Taking on organisational and administrative tasks in the front office (agenda management, preparation of dossiers, basic compliance tasks, etc.).
Independent preparation and follow-up of meetings with clients and prospects (gathering information, updating client data, preparing documentation).
Collaboration in the monitoring of client portfolios (maturities of pending transactions, preparation of account openings, liquidity management) in close cooperation with the Relationship Managers.
Independent execution of standard orders (payment transactions, simple securities and foreign exchange transactions) in line with internal guidelines, regulatory requirements and LGT’s quality standards.
Completed banking or commercial apprenticeship, supplemented by 3–5 years of professional experience in a comparable role in private banking or in servicing demanding clients.
Proven experience in supporting Relationship Managers or an advisory team, ideally with direct or indirect client contact.
Good knowledge of basic banking products and services as well as experience in dealing with regulatory requirements (e.g. KYC, AML, MiFID); Avaloq knowledge is an advantage.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, a well-groomed appearance and the ability to work effectively with various internal stakeholders.
Fluency in German and French; English or other languages are a plus.
Reliable, structured and service-oriented personality with high quality standards, accuracy, discretion and good resilience.
Empathetic and team-oriented working style, with a genuine interest in supporting Relationship Managers in looking after clients.
Good MS Office skills and confidence in working with banking systems.
