Efficient management structures

LGT has been privately owned by the Princely Family of Liechtenstein for over 80 years and therefore has efficient management and organizational structures. This allows us to make decisions quickly and independently, and to establish a long-term corporate strategy.

Roles and responsibilities in the LGT Group Foundation are defined in a clear corporate governance structure (Board of Trustees, Group Management, Executive Boards of the companies).

  • The Board of Trustees is the supervisory body for the Group. It meets at least four times a year. The Chairman of the Board of Trustees is H.S.H. Prince Philipp von und zu Liechtenstein.
  • LGT Group is divided into the two main areas of Private Banking and Asset Management. The Financial Services division brings together all the support functions of the Operations and Technology sectors.
  • The Heads of the Private Banking, Asset Management and Financial Services business units and the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), together with the Group CEO, H.S.H. Prince Max von und zu Liechtenstein, make up the Group Management, the Senior Management Board.
