Over the course of 18 months, you will build up knowledge for Investment, get to know other business units through stages and expand your horizon with a two-week seminar in Singapore. In alignment with our sustainable corporate philosophy, you will have the chance to commit for a social project. In your future role as a Graduate in Investment, we focus on the following tasks:
Work with portfolio managers and investment advisors on developing quantitative trading strategies, macro systematic strategies, with a focus on idea generation, data-driven analysis, and back-testing implementation.
Help to construct deep learning model with PyTorch/TensorFlow (LSTM, RNN, GAN, especially graphic neural nets) for cross-asset portfolio construction.
Explore advanced machine learning and NLP models with alternative financial data.
Rotation between different teams in Investment team and learn how they work together.
A master’s degree or above in any STEM discipline within the last 12 months
Strong mathematical and / or financial engineering skills and experience
Strong understanding of statistics in the context of model validation, statistical significance, correlation / causation, confounders, overfitting etc
Strong familiarity with generic optimization algorithms
Ability to translate equations into code, ideally in python
Passion for problem solving in the context of financial engineering
Eagerness to learn
Autonomous and self-disciplined
Analytical and problem solver
Eager for long-term development in LGT
Excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese
