About us

LGT is the largest Private Banking and Asset Management group in the world to be owned by an entrepreneurial family. As the family office of the Princely House of Liechtenstein, we have years of experience in the management of sizeable sums of assets.

Your challenge

During the 18‑month program, you will gain insights into various business areas and build in‑depth knowledge for your target role. You will not only expand your technical expertise but also develop your social and personal skills through engaging seminars – for example, the onboarding week in Liechtenstein – and through exchanges with internal and external experts. A particular highlight is the two‑week seminar in Singapore, where you will gain insights into Asian private banking and work on a joint project. Throughout your time as a Graduate, you will be supported by an experienced mentor who will accompany you in your professional and personal development. In line with our sustainable corporate philosophy, you will also have the opportunity to contribute to a social project. Make the most of these diverse opportunities, build your network, and lay the foundation for your long-term career at LGT.

For your future role as an IT Solution Engineer in Client Solutions, we focus on the following responsibilities:

As a member of our B2B Channels team, you will actively help shape the further development of our digital banking solutions for professional partners. You will work closely with the business, use modern technologies, and take on responsibility from day one.

  • Open Finance & APIs
You develop and maintain modern API interfaces in the Open Finance environment (e.g. OpenWealth) and ensure that our systems interact with external partners and platforms in a secure, stable, and high-performance way.

  • AI & Innovation
You drive the integration of AI use cases into our existing solutions – from ideation and conceptual design through to productive implementation. In doing so, you make a direct contribution to process automation and to enhancing the customer experience.

  • E-banking for External Asset Managers (EAM)
You help shape the further development of our e-banking solution in the Avaloq environment. You understand the needs of external asset managers, translate business requirements into digital solutions and accompany the entire implementation process through to go-live.

  • Quality & Business Analysis
You take on tasks in business analysis and testing: you analyse requirements, define test cases, support quality assurance and act as an interface between the business units, IT, and external partners.

Your profile

  • A recent Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, business informatics, finance or a related field (with graduation within the last 18 months)

  • Very good German and English skills; additional foreign languages are an advantage

  • Strong affinity for IT, team spirit, analytical mindset, and interest in the financial industry

  • Innovative strength, initiative, and commitment with a strong focus on quality

  • Ability to work in a team and willingness to go the extra mile

  • Alignment with LGT and its values

  • Interest in a long-term commitment at LGT
